Midamalou is a UK-based small business specialising in handmade creations, personalised gifts and creative DIY craft kits.
By browsing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
These terms are intended to make your shopping experience clear, fair and enjoyable.
1. Our Products
Our products are thoughtfully created and prepared with care.
As many of our items are handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, finish or appearance may occur. These small differences are part of the handmade process and do not affect your statutory rights.
We aim to provide accurate product photographs, descriptions, measurements and details. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.
Product availability may change, and we reserve the right to discontinue products or update descriptions when necessary.
2. Orders & Payments
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
Payment must be completed through the available checkout methods before an order can be processed.
Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where necessary, including where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be verified or an obvious pricing error has occurred. Any payment collected for a cancelled order will be refunded.
3. Personalised Orders
We love making your creations extra special!
For personalised products, please ensure that all names, spellings, colours and other requested details are correct before completing your order.
Personalisation will be created using the information you provide.
If you notice a mistake, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, although amendments may not be possible once production has begun.
Products genuinely personalised or made to your specifications are generally excluded from the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.
However, this does not affect your legal rights if an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described.
4. Order Cancellations
We understand that plans sometimes change.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We aim to accommodate cancellation requests made within 15 minutes of ordering, although we cannot guarantee that production or dispatch has not already begun.
For standard, non-personalised products, your statutory cancellation rights remain applicable, including the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving them.
5. Processing, Shipping & Delivery
Every Midamalou order is carefully prepared and packaged.
Processing times may vary depending on the product, order quantity and personalisation requirements.
Shipping charges and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
We are responsible for ensuring that your order reaches you in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
If your parcel is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

6. Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your Midamalou purchase.
For eligible non-personalised products purchased online, you normally have 14 days after receiving your order to notify us that you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.
Items should be returned with reasonable care. Refund deductions may apply where handling has reduced an itemβs value beyond what would be necessary to inspect it.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, customers are responsible for return postage for change-of-mind returns.
Eligible refunds include the original standard delivery charge, where required by law. Refunds will be processed within the applicable statutory timescales.
Personalised or custom-made items are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

7. Craft Kits & Product Safety
Our DIY craft kits are designed to encourage creativity and enjoyable hands-on activities.
Please read all product descriptions, age recommendations, safety warnings and included instructions before use.
Adult supervision may be required, particularly for younger children.
Some kits may contain small components, paints or plaster figures that are not suitable for children below the recommended age.
Plaster figures and craft materials are not intended for consumption.
Customers should use the products as instructed and follow the safety information supplied.
Nothing in these terms excludes our legal responsibilities concerning product safety or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Promotions & Special Offers
From time to time, Midamalou may offer discounts, promotional prices, special collections or exclusive offers.
Promotions are subject to their advertised terms, availability and validity periods.
Discount codes may have specific conditions and may not be combined unless expressly stated.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotional offers, without affecting orders already accepted or customersβ statutory rights.

Unless otherwise stated, the original photographs, branding, website content, graphics and designs created by Midamalou belong to Midamalou or are used with permission.
Please do not reproduce, distribute or use our original content commercially without prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks, characters, artwork and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners.
